Pain-free and non-invasive medical tools that help veterinarians diagnose health conditions.
At our facility, we offer digital X-rays and ultrasound for the diagnostic evaluation of our patients.
The decision to use either tool depends on the condition that we are treating. For bone fractures, swallowed items and certain forms of cancer, X-rays are typically the best options. An ultrasound allows us to examine the internal and exterior surfaces of soft-tissue organs to identify abnormalities. X-rays and ultrasounds can be used separately or in combination, depending on your pet’s medical condition.
Yes, dental X-rays are conducted with all of our dental procedures. They are sometimes used to assess structures within your pet’s skull.
